Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will take charge of steering vital projects specifically within a Government Agency context, collaborating closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, IT Infrastructure Engineers, and Agency users. Your primary objective will be to ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery that satisfies business requirements, including operational aspects such as maintenance and system monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee project delivery ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with IT governance frameworks, focusing particularly on security and system resilience.
- Lead coordination efforts with GovTech and auditors for regulatory audits and manage the deployment of Quality Management Systems.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Possesses a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Brings 4 to 6 years of experience in managing projects.
- Experience with comprehensive software or product development lifecycles, preferably within Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, conceptual thinking, and adept problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibits excellent communication skills vital for influencing stakeholders and effectively presenting ideas.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Prior exposure to Agile Project Management frameworks.
- Certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, or PMI are advantageous.
- Experience in Audit, Quality Management, and Portfolio Management is also beneficial.
