Business Analyst

Overview

AvePoint is looking for a Business Analyst experienced in enterprise software solutions to join our EdTech division based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for product development initiatives.
• Analyze, document, and evaluate current business processes by creating detailed Functional Requirements (Business Requirements Document), Use Cases, GUI, screen, and interface designs.
• Translate complex technical information into clear business language to facilitate understanding between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain proactive communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to define information needs and functional requirements.
• Work closely with developers and subject matter experts to define the technical vision, balancing usability and performance considerations.
• Assist project and product managers in planning scope, schedules, deliverables, and other project aspects.

Candidate Profile

• Background in relevant disciplines such as Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
• Proven professional experience analyzing and documenting complex business processes and software development requirements.
• Skilled in requirements gathering and producing As-Is and To-Be analysis documentation.
• Strong analytical capabilities and project management skills, with a keen ability to interpret customer business needs into application and operational specifications.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with the education sector is considered a plus.
