Strategic Consultant

Role Overview

As a Strategic Consultant with AvePoint, you will serve as a crucial technical consultant and architect, engaging with clients both remotely and onsite. This position is centered around evaluating, managing, and delivering projects designed to enhance customer adoption of Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technically and consult on services engagements involving management, migration, and protection of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint through AvePoint solutions.
• Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-level implementations of AvePoint products alongside Microsoft technologies, including next-gen products.
• Provide expert advice on AvePoint products and relevant cloud technologies.
• Conduct training sessions for customers via web conferences or on-site visits.
• Implement technical strategies tailored to meet client business requirements.
• Act as a customer advocate and liaison with product management and development teams.
• Document projects, deployments, and service deliverables comprehensively.
• Set and manage client expectations and deliverables accurately.
• Offer on-the-ground technical support, demo products, and provide solution consultations.
• Design technical solutions, including prototypes and proofs of concept, to support product selection.
• Validate AvePoint products against technical and business needs.
• Support internal technical projects and conduct QA and scenario testing using virtualized environments.

Experience & Qualifications

• Over six years of experience in architectural design and development focusing on enterprise-level Microsoft 365 and Azure application planning and deployments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint architectures, components, and configuration differences across versions.
• Proven success in leading projects covering digital transformation, change management, system migrations, consolidations, and deployments.
• Experience developing programming constructs, business logic, information architecture, and taxonomy strategies supporting SharePoint and .NET environments.
• Expertise in conducting workshops focused on IT governance, information governance, and compliance strategies for large-scale SharePoint deployments.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, SMTP, and related networking technologies.
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Working technical knowledge of modern software protocols and Internet standards.
• Self-driven with strong time management, capable of handling multiple projects without constant supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse customers.
• Outstanding technical writing capabilities demonstrated by writing guides, test documents, and technical schematics.
• Fluency in Arabic is required.
