Job Overview

Join MAGMAS as a Postal and Parcel Delivery Driver based in Newbury, England. This role offers a part-time schedule with 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Weekend availability is also required to accommodate service demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Begin your working day at the local delivery center by organizing and loading your delivery vehicle.
• Carry out deliveries of letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, walking as much as 8 miles daily.
• Utilize a handheld electronic device for route guidance and to capture customer signatures.
• Manually lift and transport mailbags weighing up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, utilizing delivery trolleys when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid full manual driving license for the UK with no more than 6 penalty points; a clean license is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, sunshine, and snow.
• Strong skills in time management and delivering excellent customer service.
• Previous experience in driving or delivering is advantageous but not mandatory.
