Pool Crew Member - Cromwell

About the Role

Join the Cromwell Pool team as a vital contributor to the safety and enjoyment of our visitors. You will be an integral part of an active aquatics group responsible for lifeguarding, delivering excellent customer service, facilitating Learn to Swim lessons, and supporting community programs.

Primary Duties

• Vigilantly lifeguard and oversee the safety of all pool patrons.
• Deliver courteous and professional customer interactions.
• Respond promptly to emergencies while strictly adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Conduct water quality testing and ensure the pool environment is clean and well-maintained.
• Manage reception duties, including admissions and responding to general inquiries.
• Assist with aquatics programs such as Learn to Swim.
• Perform operational tasks like opening, closing, and general maintenance activities.
• Collaborate closely with the broader Aquatics team to guarantee safe and efficient facility operation.
• Report directly to the Aquatics Operations Manager and work in tandem with Cromwell Pool Supervisors and the rest of the pool staff.
• Work shifts on a roster that includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
