This key infrastructure project involves a mixed-use development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, aiming to establish a global landmark known for its unique vision and standing as a self-sustaining community with multiple iconic assets. KBR is tasked with delivering PMO services including enterprise-level governance, assurance, integration, and performance oversight across all related projects and programs.

Role Overview

The PMO Digital Lead reports directly to the Project Controls Director and is accountable for driving the digital transformation within the PMO. This role focuses on governance and data-driven delivery, providing oversight of Project Management Consultants (PMCs). It involves integrating digital tools, advanced analytics, and best PMO practices to oversee quality, schedule, cost, safety, and risk management with a unified digital ecosystem serving as a single source of truth.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and deploy a digital PMO framework aligned with the overall digital strategy.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across project controls, commercial processes, reporting, and governance.
• Develop, improve, and maintain digital platforms including dashboards, BIM integrations, and analytical tools.
• Drive efficiencies through data-driven analysis for predictive decision-making linked to quality, schedule, cost, and safety goals.
• Implement comprehensive digital integration frameworks to ensure continuous data flow and enhanced project performance.
• Create digital tools enabling rapid data collection for digital reporting of design and construction progress with assured data quality.
• Enable integrated project controls via platforms combining scheduling, cost management, risk, change, and document controls.
• Utilize advanced analytics for trend forecasting, risk prediction, mitigation planning, and AI-driven performance optimization.
• Lead adoption of Common Data Environments (CDE), AI-powered project insights, and innovative digital solutions to boost project efficacy.
• Mentor PMO and project control teams on digital tools and methodologies.
• Build PMO capability in digital competencies across projects.
• Conduct training sessions focused on digital tools, dashboards, and workflows.
• Foster a culture emphasizing continuous innovation and process improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Project Management, Digital Transformation, or related field.
• At least 15 years of professional experience post-graduation.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering and commercial aspects of large civil, infrastructure, and development projects.
• Proficient in data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.
• Experienced with digital platforms like BIM tools and Common Data Environment systems.
• Skilled in project control software including Primavera P6, Pert Master, MS Project, MS Office, and document management systems.
• Strong capability in monitoring and analyzing project progress, recognizing trends, and proposing corrective measures.
• Fluent in English both verbally and in writing.
