About the Role

We are presenting an opportunity to join an independent consultancy based in South Manchester as a Chartered Town Planner. This established and growing business boasts an impressive portfolio and strong leadership within the planning industry. You will work with a close-knit, busy team serving clients such as national house builders, local councils, and sectors including residential developments, town centre regeneration, mixed-use projects, sports facilities, education, and global retail chains.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage your own workload independently
• Establish direct client relationships from the outset
• Participate in site visits and team networking events such as golf days, races, meet-ups, and award ceremonies
• Work alongside leaders and peers in a team-oriented environment
• Drive your own career progression without delays for formal promotion windows
• Develop business and commercial development skills

Candidate Requirements

• Must be a Chartered Town Planner
• Confident managing workloads autonomously
• Excellent communication and client management capabilities
• Ambitious to grow professionally within a thriving consultancy
• Strong foundational knowledge of planning principles
• Varied sector experience is advantageous but not mandatory
