About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned PMC Lead Rotating Engineer with extensive experience in leading engineering teams to successfully plan, execute, and complete technical engineering projects for a prominent client. This is a pivotal position within complex projects that involve mechanical rotating equipment.

Job Objective
- Provide expert mechanical engineering input on rotating equipment design.
- Ensure all engineering designs comply with applicable codes and ADNOC standards.
- Manage, coordinate, and oversee rotating equipment design work with EPC contractors, ensuring timely completion aligned with project goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, EPC contractors, ADNOC engineering, operations, and site interface teams to resolve technical issues and uphold engineering integrity.
- Perform regular technical reviews to assure delivery quality and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate and oversee all mechanical rotating engineering activities within the project management team (IPMT).
- Ensure accuracy and quality of design outputs from engineering consultants and EPC contractors.
- Review and approve engineering work to comply with project specifications, ADNOC codes, and industry best practices.
- Participate in developing and analyzing design options to optimize equipment sizing, selection, and standardization.
- Ensure environmental and health compliance throughout design to meet corporate guidelines.
- Maximize use of existing facilities while optimizing new project infrastructure requirements.
- Contribute to layout, model, design reviews, and technical workshops.
- Support other discipline engineers by providing technical guidance and coordination.
- Lead technical reviews, bid evaluations, and performance assessments.
- Assist during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.
- Report to ADNOC Discipline Team Leader and Engineering Manager while supporting Project Managers and engineers within the project management framework.
- Engage regularly with company technical teams, business units, operations, logistics groups, and contractor teams to ensure smooth coordination.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent technical leadership and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of international engineering codes and standards related to rotating equipment.
- Familiarity with engineering software tools and general business applications.
- Proven capability to independently plan, organize, and resolve complex engineering challenges effectively.
