Plumber

Job Overview

As a plumber at W Hotels located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, you will handle basic plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, fixing leaking faucets and spigots, and plunging toilets. You'll also be responsible for minor maintenance tasks including tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes. Preventative upkeep of tools and equipment through cleaning and lubrication is expected.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Address minor plumbing issues promptly and efficiently.
• Perform general minor repairs within the facility as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment regularly to ensure optimal functionality.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents.
• Uphold a professional appearance and confidentiality standards.
• Provide excellent guest interaction by greeting and assisting guests per company standards, including those with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management.
• Carry out physical tasks including lifting objects up to 50 pounds independently, and assist lifting heavier items over 100 pounds.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment and tools regularly.
• Support other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Education and Experience

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. No prior related work or supervisory experience is necessary.
