About the Role

This position is based at the West Crescent, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category under a full-time schedule. The role is non-management and requires being onsite at the hotel.

Role Overview

The core duty extends beyond merely serving food and drink; the objective is to craft an exceptional, memorable experience for guests. Our F&B Service Experts proactively deliver a variety of services designed to enhance guest enjoyment. From setting tables and coordinating with the kitchen to engaging with and serving guests, as well as maintaining cleanliness in work and storage areas, the professionals in this role ensure every guest interaction becomes part of the overall experience.

Essential to success are several fundamental practices: maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring a professional appearance, uniform, and communication style. The role involves constant activity including extensive standing, walking on varied surfaces such as inclined or slippery floors, reading and verifying menu information, and performing various physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing under 50 pounds without assistance. The job also requires reaching high places, crouching, bending knees, twisting, stretching, and stooping to fulfill duties effectively so that guests remain satisfied and hotel operations run smoothly.

Desirable Aptitudes

  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
  • Work Experience: Less than one year of relevant work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required.
  • Licenses or Certifications: None necessary.
