Job description
About the Role
We seek an experienced PL/SQL Developer with 5 to 9 years of expertise to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves working intensively with Oracle databases (12c/19c) and developing optimized SQL solutions that support large data environments. Familiarity with Google Cloud is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and external tables.
- Manage extensive data sets through efficient data extraction techniques and develop batch processes to handle complex database jobs.
- Generate reports in flat file or Excel formats by utilizing PL/SQL programming.
- Enhance query and program performance through effective tuning of database operations.
- Convert business requirements into precise technical implementations with speed and accuracy.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 5 to 9 years of practical experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- In-depth knowledge and experience working with Oracle Database versions 12c and 19c.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize performance when handling large-scale databases.
- Preferably familiar with Google Cloud Platform services.
- A quick learner capable of independently translating requirements into effective solutions.
