ETL Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer with over five years of experience specializing in Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes and data integration workflows in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop Informatica mappings and ETL workflows to support business data needs.
• Build advanced data flows and implement data quality solutions using IDMC capabilities.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure efficient ETL operations.
• Investigate and resolve any ETL and data integration related challenges promptly.
• Document technical details of ETL processes clearly for stakeholder reference.
• Work collaboratively with data and technical teams to troubleshoot and address issues.
• Assist users by providing training and guidance on newly developed or updated ETL workflows.
• Adhere to organizational data governance policies and compliance standards.
• Support the process of Informatica software upgrades, installations, and ongoing maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC tools for ETL development.
• Strong knowledge of advanced SQL and techniques for database optimization.
• Experience with Java programming and custom transformations within Informatica.
• Skills in performance tuning including partitioning and pushdown optimization methods.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and database design principles.
• Familiarity with APIs, web services, and connector technologies.
• Knowledge of data quality frameworks and data governance best practices.
