Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Middleware Administrator with a strong background in DevOps and distributed systems to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 10 years of expertise in managing middleware platforms, focusing primarily on Solace PubSub+ and Red Hat Integration technologies, ensuring seamless integration across various enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer Solace PubSub+ messaging infrastructure including configuration of topics, queues, VPNs, and Camel routes for messaging flows.
- Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations, ensuring robust security practices such as OAuth2, mutual TLS (mTLS), and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Monitor system performance using dashboards, logging, tracing, and observability tools; troubleshoot issues promptly and implement resilience strategies including retries and Dead Letter Queues (DLQs).
- Develop and fine-tune integration flows, enforce governance policies related to naming conventions and versioning, and maintain comprehensive documentation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with Oracle Fusion teams to agree on API contracts, support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), and guarantee compliance, reliability, and operational readiness within hybrid cloud environments.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Proficiency with Solace PubSub+ platform for message-oriented middleware management.
- Strong experience in DevOps methodologies and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform administration and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of API Gateway technologies and RESTful API design and integration.
- Expertise in cloud computing and distributed system integration.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices to incorporate security within DevOps processes.
- Experience with logging, tracing, observability, and application performance management tools.
- Managing integration platforms effectively.
