The editor will work with Unity, HTML5, Cocos, or similar platforms, developing ads from initial prototypes to finalized versions that balance creativity with technical and performance standards. Collaboration with designers and creative strategists, primarily based in the US, in a fast-moving remote setting is fundamental. The role influences paid media results and supports large-scale interactive creative production.
Key Responsibilities
- Create interactive playable advertisements using development tools like Unity, HTML5, or Cocos.
- Convert creative concepts and strategic plans into engaging, functional playable ads.
- Design simple gameplay elements tailored to advertising goals to enhance user interest and conversion rates.
- Guide playable ad concepts from prototype stages through to finished products, ensuring adherence to quality and technical standards.
- Optimize ads for performance metrics such as loading speed, responsiveness, and compatibility with advertising platforms.
- Ensure that interactive ads comply with all ad network technical specifications before delivery.
- Work closely with designers and strategists to accurately interpret creative direction and translate it into effective playable experiences.
- Apply strong creative and editorial judgement to enhance clarity, pacing, visuals, and overall engagement of interactive ads.
- Manage multiple creative production tasks simultaneously, maintaining high organizational standards and meeting deadlines.
- Critically evaluate finished creatives to identify enhancements for user experience and ad effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven professional experience in creating playable advertisements is mandatory.
- Demonstrated expertise in traditional video or creative editing, along with comprehensive knowledge of advertising creative principles.
- Hands-on experience with Unity or similar platforms for building interactive ads.
- Familiarity with HTML5, Cocos, or comparable technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of basic game mechanics and how to utilize them within advertising contexts.
- Strong creative insight and the ability to discern what makes paid ads appealing and effective.
- Capability to transform strategic and creative concepts into polished, production-ready playable ads.
- Effective communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across different teams and time zones.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to oversee multiple production workflows.
