Role Overview

We are expanding our plastering team in the South West region, specifically around Bodmin. The position requires regional travel. The role involves applying renders, skimming over damp proof course treatments, dot and dab finishing, boarding, and multi-coat render systems. Some joinery and waterproofing / membrane systems experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply rendering and skim finishes after DPC treatments
• Perform dot and dab finishing work
• Board and skim internal surfaces
• Work with multiple coat render systems
• Carry out basic joinery tasks where needed
• Engage with waterproofing and membrane systems where applicable

Candidate Requirements

• Proven plastering skills and experience
• Self-motivated and proactive with efficient workload management
• Ability to work well within a team and independently
• Strong communication capabilities
• Enthusiastic and takes pride in quality workmanship
• Prior experience in property preservation is beneficial but not mandatory; comprehensive training provided
• Must hold a valid CSCS card

Compensation and Benefits

• On-target earnings between £35,000 and £40,000 per year, with a base salary of £30,000 depending on experience

Working Hours

The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional out-of-hours and weekend shifts eligible for overtime pay.
