Established in 1954 and headquartered in Germany, Kling Consult International GmbH & Co KG is a prominent architectural and engineering consultancy with a significant presence across the Middle East and Asia through its Dubai office. The firm offers an extensive range of multidisciplinary services and manages sophisticated projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the project team with all planning-related tasks, ensuring that any programmatic issues are identified and clearly communicated.
- Evaluate contractors’ submitted programs, provide feedback, address concerns, and make recommendations to the Project Director and client.
- Report instances of non-compliance concerning scheduling between the client, their partners, consultants, and contractors for resolution.
- Offer appropriate planning guidance and advice to project team members and stakeholders, preparing programme assurance reports for the client.
- Deliver updated period program data and contribute inputs to project progress reports.
- Continuously monitor progress at the site on daily, weekly, and monthly intervals and prepare monthly status reports for the client.
- Assess contractor eligibility for claims or requests for time extensions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Director or Planning and Risk Manager.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 15 years of total professional experience.
- At least 5 years’ experience specifically on 5-star hotel and other hospitality-related projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficient in multiple discipline-specific software, including Primavera or equivalent planning tools.
- Preferred experience working with architectural and engineering consultancies.
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to effectively work with diverse stakeholders.
Additional Information
This is a full-time role requiring on-site presence six days a week in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
