Planning Engineer - MEP for High-Rise Projects

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer specialized in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to work on high-rise construction projects. This position requires managing and overseeing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient execution of MEP activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and MS Project tools.
• Develop baseline project timelines, forward-looking plans, and recovery strategies to address delays.
• Continuously track project advancement, identify potential risks or setbacks, and coordinate with teams to mitigate these issues.
• Collaborate closely with MEP stakeholders to ensure proper sequencing and synchronization of work activities.
• Compile weekly and monthly progress documentation reporting on project status.
• Monitor usage and deployment of manpower, materials, and overall site progression.
• Assist the project management team in allocating resources effectively for efficient workflow.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Have between 7 to 10 years of focused experience in MEP planning within UAE or Qatar.
• Demonstrate prior involvement with high-rise building projects as a mandatory experience.
• Exhibit proficient understanding and usage of Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software.
• Must be based in or willing to work in Dubai, UAE.
