About the Role

Teamlease Services Limited offers an opportunity to work at Avenue Supermarts Limited (DMart) as a Picker / Packer in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This full-time position focuses on supporting the front-end and customer checkout operations, ensuring smooth and accurate billing processes for customers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Efficiently scanning items at billing counters with Point of Sale (POS) systems, ensuring quick and precise transactions.
• Handling cash, debit, credit cards, UPI, and digital wallet payments accurately and securely.
• Providing correct change and issuing valid receipts clearly to customers.
• Maintaining an orderly and well-stocked checkout area, including replenishing carry bags and receipt rolls.
• Responding politely to customer questions and escalating complaints or pricing issues to supervisors as needed.
• Performing cash reconciliation procedures at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accurate cash management.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Completion of 10th or 12th grade education.
• No prior work experience required; freshers are encouraged to apply. Experience in cash handling or retail cashier roles is a plus.
• Basic arithmetic skills and familiarity with computer operations, especially POS systems.
• The ability to work speedily while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
