Picker / Packer

Job Overview

A Picker Packer is responsible for locating products on warehouse shelves and securely packaging them to ensure prompt and precise delivery to customers.

Primary Duties

• Identify and collect items from shelves as directed by physical order sheets or electronic RF scanners.
• Package items carefully using protective materials and seal boxes securely for shipment.
• Inspect products to verify they are free from defects or damage before dispatch.
• Print accurate shipping labels and attach barcodes correctly to all packages.
• Maintain organization by restocking shelves, performing inventory counts, and keeping the work environment tidy.

Essential Qualifications

• Physical endurance to stand, bend, and walk during extended work hours.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy objects ranging approximately from 25 to 50 pounds routinely.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure correct matching of item identifiers, colors, and quantities.
• Ability to maintain a brisk working pace to fulfill daily shipment targets.
• No academic credentials are required; comprehensive training will be provided on the job.

Work Locations

Positions are open at multiple sites including Karunamoyee, Shalimar, Santragachi, Newtown, Shapoorji, Kalighatb, MG Road, Baranagal, Bally Salap, South Kolkata, North Kolkata, and Howrah.

Compensation

The monthly salary offered ranges between 14000 and 15000 INR.
