Job description
Role Summary
This position involves preparing customer orders by selecting and packaging items in a warehouse environment. You'll ensure the accuracy and safety of products before shipment and contribute to inventory upkeep.
Key Duties
- Use order lists or handheld scanners to identify and collect the correct merchandise from storage racks.
- Inspect products for any damages, defects, or missing components prior to packaging.
- Choose suitable packaging materials, protect delicate items, and securely seal parcels using tape or straps.
- Properly apply shipping labels, barcodes, and destination information on each package.
- Assist with replenishing stock, moving inventory items, and supporting regular inventory audits.
