Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire product enthusiasm within your team and oversee the proper handling and storage of products.
• Mentor your team to uphold excellent shelf standards, ensuring product visibility and accessibility, thus creating a positive first impression for customers.
• Exemplify excellent and friendly customer service, setting a high standard for your team.
• Manage departmental costs effectively by minimizing waste and ensuring waste processes are completed correctly.
• Collaborate with business units to increase sales by implementing scheduled range and merchandising activities.
• Ensure team members are well-trained and confident in customer engagement and product selling strategies.
• Work closely with the Tesco Mobile Regional Operations Manager and store management to guide your team's success in the Phone Shop.
• Recognize and appreciate successes, showing respect and empowering your team to positively impact customers and colleagues.
• Encourage your team's involvement in local community initiatives aligned with Tesco's community engagement strategy.
