Pharmacist

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in multiple locations across Odisha including Cuttack, Bhadrak, Ganjam, Kendujhar, Sundargarh, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, and Kalahandi. Candidates should possess a valid Pharmacist License and have completed B.Pharm or D.Pharm qualifications.

Experience Requirement

A minimum of six months of practical experience in pharmaceutical services is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately following prescriptions from medical professionals.
• Ensure medications are stored and handled according to prescribed standards.
• Maintain comprehensive pharmacy records including billing and inventory management.
• Advise patients on proper medication use, dosages, and safety precautions.
• Verify expiry dates and batch information, adhering to the First-In-First-Out (FIFO) stock method.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare staff including doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel.
• Adhere strictly to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols.

Required Competencies and Skills

• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical drugs and appropriate dosages.
• Strong communication abilities for effective patient interaction and team coordination.
• High attention to detail with a focus on precise record-keeping.
• Basic proficiency with computer systems for inventory and billing processes.

Compensation
