Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join a well-established, progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in East Kilbride, Scotland. The role focuses primarily on personal tax compliance and advisory services, with optional exposure to basic corporate tax. The firm offers great flexibility within a 35-hour workweek, a varied client portfolio, and a supportive, friendly workplace environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio related to personal tax compliance and planning.
- Provide advisory services on personal tax matters.
- Assist and mentor junior team members.
- Liaise with clients to address their tax needs and queries.
- Opportunity to gain some corporate tax experience, if desired.
Requirements
- Approximately five years of recent UK accountancy firm tax experience.
- Qualified or studying towards ATT, or possessing relevant equivalent experience.
- Strong team collaboration and client relationship skills.
- Familiarity with tax software such as Iris Tax and CCH Tax.
- Interest in working within a smaller team and managing all aspects of clients' personal tax.
