Connect Appointments is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a reputable international manufacturing company based in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. The client boasts a well-established production facility recognized for quality and innovation in their sector.
Job Details and Benefits
- Permanent, full-time employment
- Competitive salary up to £50,000 annually
- Shift system including day, back, and night shifts with specified hours
- Day shifts: 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00
- Back shifts: 15:00-23:00 or 16:00-00:00
- Night shift: 00:00-08:00
- Requirement to be on-call for 48 hours, one weekend every five weeks
Core Responsibilities
- Planning and prioritizing maintenance tasks for each shift
- Installing plant and machinery equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance and addressing equipment breakdowns
- Executing portable appliance testing
- Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualification Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with relevant qualifications such as HNC or City & Guilds
- Additional mechanical skills or training are advantageous
- Familiarity with current Electrical Regulations is essential
- Strong communication abilities and capacity to work independently
