Personal Support Worker

Key Duties

• Assisting clients with transfers between beds and wheelchairs, including use of hoists
• Providing grooming, bathing, dressing, and dental hygiene support
• Offering personal care such as toileting and bladder and bowel management
• Managing basic wound care and administering self-medication
• Performing domestic tasks like meal preparation, laundry, and household chores
• Facilitating community involvement by driving clients to appointments and social events

Candidate Profile

• Excellent listening skills and genuine communication ability
• Availability to work fixed fortnightly rosters, covering mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight shifts
• Possession of a current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Either currently holding or willing to acquire NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Cards
• Relevant experience in care work and/or suitable qualifications are preferred
