Role Overview

The Support Worker position in Community Services requires a motivated and caring individual to enhance the wellbeing of persons with disabilities. This role involves offering customised care aligned with each client’s unique needs and objectives, contributing to societal inclusiveness and compassion.

Key Duties

• Provide exceptional support services to clients with disabilities.
• Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and skill enhancement for daily living.
• Foster community engagement by supporting access to social and recreational opportunities.
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to create and execute personalised care plans.
• Promote independence and empower clients towards achieving personal milestones.
• Advocate continually for the rights and requirements of people with disabilities.
