Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a skilled Personal Assistant to join our Tauranga office on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. This full-time position involves providing support to two senior leaders and assisting with broader coordination across the Tauranga region.
As a vital member of the team, you will help leaders remain organised, engaged, and focused on delivering excellent results for clients, projects, and colleagues. The role includes executive assistance, regional coordination, and administrative duties such as managing detailed calendars, arranging travel, preparing presentations, coordinating events, supporting communications, and ensuring key actions are followed through.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Personal Assistant who quickly develops trusted relationships and provides smooth support to senior executives. You are personable, flexible, and highly organised, recognising that being a great PA extends beyond administrative tasks. Acting as a primary contact point, you foster connections and facilitate smooth operations. Your communication skills enable you to confidently engage with diverse stakeholders, knowing when to use phone conversations effectively.
You excel managing competing priorities in a dynamic setting, demonstrating proactive problem-solving abilities. You anticipate needs, exercise good judgement, and handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a Personal Assistant or senior administrative support role.
- The capability to immediately integrate and confidently support senior leadership.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including PowerPoint.
- Competence in juggling multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for hands-on involvement.
- High levels of professionalism, initiative, and precise attention to detail.
