The Opportunity
As a Payroll Specialist immersed in complexity, you will engage with nationwide payroll operations across New Zealand, navigating a multifaceted and dynamic environment. The role encompasses managing various internal and intercompany payroll variables, providing challenges beyond typical payroll duties.
Key Responsibilities
You will ensure all employees receive accurate and timely payments, maintain comprehensive employee payroll records, and collaborate closely with the People Advice team. Handling inquiries promptly and sensitively while delivering precise advice will also be core to your role.
About You
You bring over five years of comprehensive experience managing end-to-end payroll delivery within New Zealand, showing a robust understanding of payroll legislation, compliance, and processes, including handling multiple jurisdictional considerations. You're recognized as a reliable payroll expert who continuously updates your knowledge of employment regulations and shares valuable insights.
Thriving in a fast-paced setting, you demonstrate exceptional accuracy, timeliness, and service quality. With proven expertise using DataPay and confidence in payroll systems and reporting tools, you effectively oversee complex payroll functions while ensuring compliance and quality results.
Collaborative by nature, you foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels. You balance deep technical know-how with a customer-centered mindset and a dedication to continuous improvement, taking pride in supporting the workforce and leadership alike.
