Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated People Systems Analyst to become part of our dynamic, high-performing team on a permanent full-time basis. You will be involved in a broad variety of initiatives related to Workday, people analytics, Power BI, artificial intelligence, automation, governance, and enhancing employee experiences. This position offers engaging challenges beyond routine tasks, with opportunities to troubleshoot, create dashboards, streamline processes, support system enhancements, and investigate new technologies to benefit our people and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for Workday and related People Technology platforms.
- Create, configure, and maintain Power BI dashboards and workforce analytics to design data models, visualize information effectively, and deliver insights that assist business decisions.
- Contribute to shaping and executing the People reporting and analytics roadmap.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop actionable solutions.
- Analyze system, process, and data challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Leverage data-driven insights to pinpoint trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist with system testing, releases, and enhancements.
- Promote data quality, governance, and security enhancements.
- Seek opportunities to simplify processes, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance the employee experience through improved systems design.
- Engage in initiatives that maximize value from our technology investments.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate may come from backgrounds in People Systems, HRIS, People Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related system-focused disciplines. Prior expertise in every area is not expected; instead, curiosity, problem-solving abilities, a passion for working with data, and eagerness to grow within People Technology and Analytics are highly valued.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with People, HR, or enterprise system environments.
- Advanced proficiency in developing Power BI dashboards from inception, including data modeling, visualization design, and transforming business needs into insightful reporting.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfort and confidence handling data, reporting, and extracting insights.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for forming robust stakeholder relationships.
- A continuous improvement-oriented mindset with a keen interest in leveraging technology to enhance the work experience.
Familiarity with Workday is beneficial but not required; we equally welcome candidates with backgrounds in other enterprise platforms who are motivated to learn.
