Role Overview

Join a dynamic and values-driven team as an Analytics Engineer within the newly formed Data & AI function. Reporting to the Innovation & Advanced Analytics Lead, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining dbt models that transform raw data into reliable, analytics-ready datasets. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to create scalable, governed data solutions that empower business intelligence tools such as Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, construct, and sustain analytics data models utilizing dbt and Snowflake
• Create incremental and dimensional models ensuring scalability, performance, and clarity
• Employ software engineering methodologies including Git version control, code assessments, continuous integration/continuous deployment, and automated testing
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality to ensure trustworthiness and accuracy of data assets
• Optimize Snowflake’s storage and computational resources balancing efficiency and cost considerations
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, metadata, and data lineage for all data products
• Partner with data engineers for effective source data ingestion and structuring
• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver tailored data solutions
• Support Power BI and related reporting platforms with curated and governed data sets
• Build dependable data products that underpin advanced analytics and AI applications

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience using Snowflake and dbt, or comparable technologies, for analytics solution development and maintenance
• Strong proficiency in SQL alongside sound knowledge of data modeling principles such as dimensional modeling and medallion architecture
• Familiarity with software development practices including Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews
• Capability to translate business requirements into scalable, reusable data products
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
• A learning-oriented mindset with continuous improvement in quality, speed, and simplicity
• Collaborative approach emphasizing knowledge sharing and collective success
• Dedication to quality standards, thorough documentation, and operational excellence
• Effective communicator who can articulate technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
