Role Overview

We are seeking a Solutions Architect who will be responsible for overseeing the architecture of technology solutions introduced to our corporate departments such as People, Finance, Legal, and Risk. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business owners to identify their needs, evaluate appropriate products from vendors or off-the-shelf options, and design secure integrations between these products and our existing technology ecosystem, including platforms like Workday, Microsoft 365, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with corporate functions to understand their technology requirements and challenges.
• Assess and select suitable vendor and commercial software solutions.
• Architect integration solutions ensuring secure and compliant data flows between systems.
• Develop clear and detailed architectural designs that can be directly used by vendors for implementation.
• Serve as the principal architecture expert, collaborating with product owners and managers to maintain the integrity and security of the enterprise architecture.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in solution or integration architecture with expertise connecting vendor, off-the-shelf, and legacy systems.
• Deep knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and enterprise data flow design.
• Proficient in evaluating and selecting SaaS and vendor products aligned with business needs.
• Strong background in security, privacy, and compliance within system integrations.
• Excellent communication skills, able to clarify requirements and articulate designs both visually and in writing for business and technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to operate independently as the lead architect across diverse business domains.

Additional Information

This position is based in Auckland with a hybrid work arrangement requiring at least two days in the office weekly. While candidates from other areas may express interest, fully remote work is not available.
