Job description

Position Overview

The role of Payroll Consultant involves advising and supporting clients with the implementation of payroll and HR software systems, ensuring compliance and efficiency in payroll processing.

Key Qualifications

  • Must possess in-depth knowledge of payroll processing, including relevant topics such as wage tax, social security laws, and occupational pension schemes (bAV).
  • Proficiency in business management software systems and prior experience with payroll support is essential.
  • Strong service orientation accompanied by enthusiasm for consulting and assisting customers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Fluent German language skills, both spoken and written, at minimum C1 level.
  • A valid work permit for Germany is mandatory for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Providing consultation and support during the rollout of payroll and HR software systems for clients.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations and training sessions focused on HR and payroll software.
  • Handling user inquiries by diagnosing issues and implementing appropriate fixes.
  • Evaluating existing client systems and processes to identify potential enhancements, such as interface improvements.
  • Assisting in drafting clear technical documentation and acting as a knowledgeable partner for both clients and internal departments.
  • Collaborating closely with the software vendor and internal development teams.
  • Participating actively in projects aimed at advancing company objectives.
