Job Purpose

The Parts Operation-Logistics Associate is responsible for managing parts operations efficiently ensuring timely delivery and high accuracy, thereby providing excellent customer service to Samsung service partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound management tasks such as managing purchase order allocations, cancellations, tracking, and managing back orders.
• Expedite shipments with vendors to ensure prompt supply; negotiate part quantities, confirm system shipments, and process goods receiving.
• Manage outbound operations including delivery orders, reverse logistics (returns and credit notes).
• Oversee warehouse inventory management focusing on stock levels, accuracy, managing non-moving and surplus scrap parts, pricing, insurance, and coordinating stock takes.
• Manage contracts with vendors and service center parts contracts.
• Provide daily parts ETA reports to authorized service centers and service teams.
• Manage customer orders by advising on part availability, canceling purchase orders as necessary, and evaluating replacement requests related to parts issues.
• Ensure timely uploading of delivery data including proof of delivery.
• Respond to parts queries and email communications from service partners.
• Maintain and manage service parts key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee shipping and logistics by monitoring processing of IDF and COC documents for pre-shipment inspection, track shipments with logistics partners like DHL, SIGNON, Bollore, and follow up on tax payment processes with Finance.
• Communicate promptly with vendors regarding damages, shortages, and discrepancies during receiving.
• Handle monthly invoice requests and closing for logistics partners and vendors.
• Follow up on assigned customer service tasks.
• Provide parts process training to service center points of contact.
• Prepare various reports including back order reports, ETA reports, parts stock and excess stock reports, parts scrap reports, and other ad hoc reports as required.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• A degree in a business-related field is mandatory.
• Professional qualifications in procurement and supplies are advantageous.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or a logistics-related role.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organizational abilities.
