Job description
Role Overview
The Partner Development Manager for GSI and Consulting partners is tasked with managing and expanding relationships with top global and national system integrators, consultancies, and advisory firms across ANZ. The role focuses on translating practice-level partnerships into consistent, co-sold revenue streams. The core objective is to embed AvePoint's solutions within partner offerings and client initiatives, making these partners key drivers of new business opportunities and significant contributors to large deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture strategic relationships with GSI, consulting, and advisory partners to grow revenue sourced and influenced through them.
- Serve as the primary liaison between AvePoint and partner teams to synchronize efforts and ensure successful collaboration.
- Manage daily engagement with assigned partners, overseeing opportunity advancement and ongoing relationship strengthening.
- Design and implement joint partner strategies aimed at pipeline expansion, partner activation, and shared business success.
- Collaborate closely with AvePoint’s sales, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to drive partner-led opportunity identification and closure.
- Empower partners to effectively represent AvePoint solutions, recognize co-selling opportunities, and identify relevant customer scenarios for AvePoint's value.
- Contribute to the creation of joint solutions, assessments, and initiatives aligning AvePoint’s capabilities with partner services and client transformations.
- Cultivate advocate relationships within partner organizations to ensure AvePoint's consistent inclusion in customer discussions.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated success within software or SaaS companies managing GSI, consulting, alliance, or strategic partnerships with proven commercial impact.
- Minimum of five years in channel sales, alliance management, partner development, or related roles accountable for partner-driven pipeline and revenue.
- Proven skills in identifying and advancing partner-led opportunities through structured engagement and co-sell activities.
- Clear understanding of partner business models such as referral, influence, resell, and service-led opportunities and their economic decision factors.
- Experience in partner enablement, joint go-to-market plans, pipeline creation, and advancing opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems for partner, pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
- Background working within or alongside the Microsoft ecosystem, including co-selling and partner-driven deals.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across sales, technical, marketing, and partner functions.
Desirable Attributes
- Established networks within the ANZ GSI and consulting sectors.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, resilience, or information management areas.
- Experience supporting large-scale bids, panel contracts, RFx submissions, or long-term partner-led transformation programs.
