Job Overview

The Packer role involves handling activities to maintain stable material supplies and mixing processes, including receiving, storing, and delivering a variety of materials. The individual ensures accurate packaging of plastic components in accordance with established packaging procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify silo capacities at the start and end of shifts to prevent machines from running out of materials.
• Correctly mark, store, report, and seal leftover materials such as Raw Material, Regrind, and Master batch.
• Set up and operate packing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors or process technicians to minimize production losses.
• Ensure all processes conform to defined time schedules.
• Consistently visually monitor finished goods.
• Maintain cleanliness of the packaging area and complete additional duties assigned by superiors.
• Follow packaging instructions according to standard documentation.
• Label finished goods pallets accurately.
• Relieve other packers and transport finished goods pallets to designated staging areas.
• Assist other departments with sorting held products and other related tasks.
• Support the setup team as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Basic proficiency in reading, speaking, and comprehending English.
• Self-driven and proactive with the ability to work independently.
• Numeracy skills to count accurately.
• Flexibility in work hours and tasks.
• Ability to bend and stand in challenging positions for up to 12 hours.
• High energy levels.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, be on call, and undertake weekend and overtime work as required.
• Physical ability to lift weights up to 25 kilograms.
• Capability to work under various weather and temperature extremes including heat, humidity, and cold.
