Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining consistent production of high-quality products
- Tracking, reporting, and optimizing processing parameters for efficiency
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical or procedural problems as needed
- Assisting with machine changeovers when required
- Verifying availability and quality of raw materials before usage
- Monitoring material waste and reporting any deviations
- Adhering to housekeeping rules and ensuring the work area remains clean per established cleaning protocols
Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical or mechanical experience in the plastics sector is preferred
- Basic proficiency in computer operations
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, reach regularly; occasional climbing or balancing
- Frequent use of hands for handling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and communication
- Occasional sitting is required
- Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs; frequently up to 30 lbs; occasionally over 50 lbs
- Good close vision capability necessary
