Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage entire production line from start through packaging
  • Ensure correct quantities of goods are produced following agreed specifications
  • Keep accurate records of production output and any shift issues
  • Verify that products meet all quality standards
  • Perform color changes efficiently
  • Carry out autonomous maintenance tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness of production line and perform line clearance
  • Collaborate with Machine Operator II, Supervisor, and Mold Change Team during mold switches
  • Work effectively within a team and promote efficient teamwork
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards within the department

Performance Metrics and Competencies

  • Focus on efficiency, waste reduction, quality control, color change efficiency, and completing autonomous maintenance
  • Exhibit accountability, sound decision-making, effective communication, trust-building, collaboration, respect for diversity, and drive for results

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent mandatory
  • Preferably a technical background in plastics manufacturing
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Physical Demands

  • Regular standing, walking, reaching; occasional climbing or balancing
  • Frequent hand use for handling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing
  • Occasional sitting required
  • Regular lifting/moving up to 10 lbs; frequent lifting/moving up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting/moving over 50 lbs
  • Close vision capability necessary
