Overnight Task Team Outfitter - Full Time

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Assistant General Manager, the Overnight Task Team Outfitter plays a key role in enhancing retail operations by minimizing non-selling tasks for Sales Outfitters, enabling them to concentrate on exceptional customer service and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Restocks merchandise across departments such as Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing, and Gifts.
• Assists inventory management by conducting on-demand counts, scanning for empty pegs, verifying display integrity alongside the Inventory Control team.
• Executes temporary and permanent price updates including tagging, signage changes, and reviewing inventory adjustments.
• Maintains department organization through folding, repackaging, sorting, facing products, and rehanging items.
• Supports visual merchandising by replacing fixtures, updating signage and end caps, following merchandising directives, arranging floor moves, dressing mannequins, preparing merchandise for ads, and performing department resets when needed.
• Helps enforce and maintain planograms across all hardlines departments.
• Assists in OMNI order fulfillment during high business volume periods.
• Delivers excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Performs additional duties as required.

Candidate Qualifications

• Preferably one or more years’ experience in sales or customer service roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of planograms and visual merchandising is an advantage.
• Ability to identify and replenish inventory shortages effectively.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and good logical judgment.
• Experience related to outdoor lifestyles or similar fields is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s product lines is a plus.
