Clothing Processing Outfitter

Position Summary

The Apparel Processing Outfitter will manage the entire processing of apparel merchandise shipments from receipt to sales floor stocking and receiving.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all received apparel merchandise efficiently, following Visual Merchandising and MPS standards while using the inventory management system (approximately 50% of the time).
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor systematically as per Visual Merchandising Standards and inventory system guidelines (10%).
• Stay informed about advertised sales to enhance backroom organization and timely replenishment (10%).
• Assist with unloading trucks when necessary (10%).
• Support pricing maintenance and merchandise signage (5%).
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment stocked with necessary supplies (5%).
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains orderly and easily accessible (5%).
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience for guests (5%).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• No previous experience required.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in using company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices, and Point of Sale register systems.
• Ability to process and interpret visual guides, plan-o-grams, and merchandising standards.
• Capable of analyzing replenishment reports to organize sales floor merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal skills for professional and friendly communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with management, colleagues, and customers.

Physical Requirements

• Regular walking, standing, and computer work.
• Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Infrequent sitting.
• Must be able to use ladders and lifts when necessary.

Works under general supervision using established procedures and occasional innovation. Makes decisions among limited alternatives to solve problems and may suggest improvements to policies and work practices.
