Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized produce department at all times to ensure readiness for customers.
• Regularly rotate products and promptly remove any expired goods to guarantee freshness and quality.
• Ensure pricing and signage accuracy by following correct procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, and labeling.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and cold chain protocols, including temperature monitoring, thermometer use, proper food handling, and compliance with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and destock merchandise as necessary, apply product protection when required, and set up displays including modulars and shelf caps to maintain full stock levels.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies to promote a safe and sanitary working environment.
• Exhibit flexibility by working various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet business requirements.

Challenges to Anticipate

• Manage a demanding workload during overnight hours with effective time and energy planning to remain alert and focused.
• Efficiently handle a fast-paced environment, ensuring large quantities of restocking and recovery tasks are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Perform physical duties such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting products, equipment, or supplies up to 20 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Consistently execute repetitive tasks like stocking and organizing with precision to maintain store standards.
