Position Summary

• Follow proper food safety protocols including cold chain management, temperature monitoring, food handling, and compliance with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Prepare and serve deli products including meat, cheese, and fried chicken using equipment such as slicers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers.
• Adhere to company health and safety policies to maintain a safe and hygienic workplace.
• Be willing to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.

Challenges

• Manage high-volume tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting, especially during overnight shifts.
• Maintain energy and focus throughout demanding shifts involving restocking and department recovery.
• Perform physically demanding activities such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Carry out repetitive stocking and organizing tasks with consistent attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Salary

The minimum hourly wage for this position starts at 16.45 Canadian dollars.
