Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome all customers with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently handle all purchase transactions including the deactivation of merchandise in line with the EAS Program.
• Promote Walmart's sponsored initiatives such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Assist customers in bagging and loading their purchases.
• Adhere to safe working standards, including correct lifting techniques and maintaining cleanliness at the workstation.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the cash register by careful cash handling and compliance with company policies while remaining vigilant to surroundings.
• Refer customer service or transactional queries to the Customer Service Manager when necessary.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $17.75 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
