Over-the-Counter Associate

Position Overview

The Over-the-Counter (OTC) Associate delivers exceptional customer service by assisting customers and managing the assigned department area effectively. This role involves supporting the OTC Department Manager or Pharmacy Manager through various tasks to ensure an organized and well-maintained environment according to Walmart's core values.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard patient privacy by strictly adhering to confidentiality protocols consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Work towards increasing department sales and profitability under guidance from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Perform stock rotation and monitor expiry dates to maintain product integrity.
• Ensure the department is properly zoned and merchandise is well presented.
• Handle ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, and labeling according to company procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized area free from debris, foreign items, or liquids.
• Achieve zero pricing errors through compliance with scanning credibility programs.
• Carry out calibration of equipment used in prescription filling processes to ensure accuracy.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $16.50 per hour.
