Job description
Position Overview
As an Overnight Associate reporting to the Overnight Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in streamlining store operations by handling non-selling tasks. This enables Sales Outfitters to concentrate on providing exceptional customer service and enhancing sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish merchandise across various departments including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing, and Gifts.
- Collaborate with the Inventory Control team to support inventory management tasks such as on-demand counts, scanning empty pegboards, and maintaining display accuracy.
- Execute temporary and permanent price changes by tagging, updating signage, and reviewing inventory adjustments.
- Perform recovery duties including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing, and rehanging items throughout the store.
- Assist with visual merchandising by replacing fixtures, updating signage and end caps, following merchandising directives, conducting floor moves, dressing mannequins, preparing merchandise for advertisements, and executing resets as needed.
- Support planogram implementation and upkeep within all hardlines departments.
- Assist in OMNI order fulfillment during peak business periods.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in sales or service roles.
- Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with planograms and visual merchandising techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to identify and replenish out-of-stock or low-stock merchandise promptly.
- Availability to work overnight shifts.
- Strong customer service skills and good judgment.
- Experience related to outdoor lifestyles is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s products is an asset.
