Overview

Reporting to the Retail Manager, the Camping Outfitter joins a collaborative team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience focused on legendary customer service and comprehensive product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer outstanding customer service by identifying client needs and providing tailored product advice to assist in purchasing decisions.
• Promote ongoing company programs and special offers to customers.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld, including signage maintenance, product presentation, restocking, and cleanliness of the sales floor.
• Address and resolve customer concerns using sound judgment and problem-solving skills within the scope of the role.
• Support other store departments as business needs require.
• Exhibit enthusiasm for outdoor activities and stay informed about current trends and new technologies relevant to outdoor lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of one year experience in sales or customer service settings.
• High school diploma or equivalent is favored.
• Strong ability to assess customer needs and suggest suitable products.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering superior customer service that exceeds expectations.
• Capability to apply logical reasoning and sound judgment in decision-making.
• Experience related to outdoor lifestyles is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's product lines is considered an asset.
