Outside Catering (CCS) Manager

Job Overview

The Outside Catering (CCS) Manager leads and inspires their team, actively participating in the physical arrangement and execution of event functions, including setting up tables, chairs, dance floors, and podiums, ensuring all events meet the defined standards and client requirements. This role also involves motivating and training staff to consistently deliver excellent service quality, managing financial and administrative tasks with a focus on asset protection.

• Collaborate closely with catering employees, clients, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of all property departments and communicate group-specific needs accordingly.
• Handle market inquiries promptly and within organizational guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver effective written and verbal presentations.
• Convey all event details efficiently to operating departments and customers to guarantee exceptional customer service and employee satisfaction.
• Engage in sales and marketing efforts by qualifying leads, soliciting and booking meetings, conferences, and corporate/social catered events.
• Negotiate catering terms, upsell arrangements, and identify business opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.
• Offer coaching, counseling, and mentorship to employees while fostering productivity and addressing employee needs.
• Manage group or interpersonal conflicts effectively and supervise hourly staff development.

Candidate Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience in event management or related fields; or
• A two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with no prior work experience required.
