About the Role

At The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, we believe first impressions set the tone for a memorable guest experience. Our Doorman, also called Guest Arrival Expert, plays a key role by warmly welcoming guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring their overall experience is seamless and pleasant. This position involves delivering a variety of services to assist guests during arrival and departure, including managing operational needs, fulfilling guest requests, preparing reports, and sharing information about local attractions. Empowered to move freely, the Doorman’s presence is integral to creating an outstanding and unique stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide assistance during their arrival and departure.
• Handle operational duties, guest inquiries, and requests efficiently and with a personal touch.
• Complete relevant reports and administrative tasks as required.
• Share highlights about the local area to enhance guest experiences.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Ensure professional appearance, including uniform and communication standards.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and performing tasks involving lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds independently, and heavier items with assistance.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned to support the team and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education required: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No previous related work or supervisory experience is necessary.
• No license or certification required.
