Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned OSS Tools Administrator to effectively manage and support our enterprise OSS, ITSM, and monitoring platforms located in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This role demands expertise in maintaining operational excellence, facilitating smooth integrations, and enhancing automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support for incidents and problems related to OSS tools.
- Collaborate with external vendors and original equipment manufacturers to manage maintenance tasks, system upgrades, and complex troubleshooting.
- Conduct training sessions for Service Desk and Monitoring personnel to ensure proficient use of OSS applications and adherence to best practices.
- Oversee the seamless functionality and integration of OSS tools within infrastructure, applications, and network settings.
- Continuously monitor platform performance, prepare detailed operational reports, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist with governance, audits, and comprehensive documentation associated with OSS tools.
- Champion automation strategies aimed at boosting operational efficiency and reducing manual interventions.
Required Skills
- Proficient hands-on experience with OpenText/Micro Focus OSS solutions including APM Connect-it, NNMi, NNMi SPI for Traffic, OBM, Optic Data Lake (ODL), SiteScope, SMAX, UCMDB, ZENworks, and Elasticsearch.
- Strong understanding of enterprise monitoring frameworks, OSS administration principles, and integrating tools within complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working with platforms such as ServiceNow, Remedy, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, and Splunk.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based service management methodologies is advantageous.
Educational Background
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline with 4 to 6 years of practical experience in OSS and ITSM tool administration.
Certifications
Possession of ITIL v4 certification is preferred. Additional certifications related to ServiceNow, Splunk, or other pertinent platforms are considered strong assets.

Bachelor's Degree
