Operator, Diesel Filler

Position Overview

This role involves managing the fueling process for vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and maintaining fuel logistics efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for various operational and maintenance tasks within the company facilities.

Primary Duties

• Refuel diesel tanks of vehicles while adhering to strict safety standards and procedures.
• Keep track of fuel quantities and schedule refills to avoid operational delays.
• Maintain accurate records of fuel dispensing activities and handle related paperwork.
• Inspect fuel equipment for signs of leaks or malfunction and promptly escalate issues to maintenance teams.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of operational facilities, following health, safety, and quality regulations consistently.
• Carry out cleaning tasks using electromechanical or other cleaning devices as required.
• Immediately report any accidents or incidents to the supervisory team.
• Notify supervisors of potential operational challenges, exceptions, and suggest improvements.
• Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies; proactively contribute to safety enhancements through reporting and suggestions.
• Perform additional assignments consistent with physical and mental capabilities, as directed by supervisors, to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational attainment: High School diploma.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a similar operational capacity.
• Strong emphasis on safety awareness and adherence.
• Basic communication abilities, including proficiency in reading and writing elementary English.
