Job Overview
The Operator will support the Quality Inspector by ensuring that product standards meet the specified finished goods criteria. This role demands attention to machine setup and maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance within the production area.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the production line throughout shifts and at month-end closures.
- Complete daily production reports and forward them to the Production Team Leader.
- Adjust and set machines correctly, including size changes to meet production demands.
- Handle raw materials appropriately, including receiving, returning, and transferring to and from the warehouse.
- Communicate any machine-related issues promptly to the Lead Operator and Line Setter.
- Ensure designated storage locations are respected for finished goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw materials.
- Adhere strictly to safety and environmental guidelines and actively participate in HSE-led toolbox talks.
- Engage in consultations and activities across various levels and departments relating to the development, planning, implementation, review, and improvement of the Occupational Health & Safety management system.
